He said: We intend to use the capacity of postdoctoral fellows and people who have graduated from prestigious universities in the form of researcher-promoter or promoter-researcher in the required fields in the provinces to increase the penetration of knowledge and productivity in the fields of agriculture.
Saying that one of the gaps in the agricultural sector is promotion, Khayamenkoui stated: There is a gap of 3 to 10 times between the average production and the record production of some products such as wheat or apples, and by using the postdoctoral capacity and placing this With the capacity of researchers and promoters of the agricultural sector, this gap can be reduced.
At the same time, he stated: The Agricultural Research, Education and Promotion Organization has been suffering from a lack of sufficient human resources for years, and the scientific members of this organization have decreased from 3,000 people to less than 2,000 people due to retirement.
The Deputy Minister of Jihad Agriculture continued: The postdoctoral capacity will help us to attract the right people according to the legal processes after evaluating them within one to three years.
He emphasized: During the period of cooperation with postdoctoral fellows, we have no obligation to recruit them, but these forces are given priority for recruitment.
Acknowledging that the recruitment of postdoctoral fellows should be effective in the field of research and promotion, Khayyam Nekoui stated: Now in the field of promotion, we need to recruit at least 50 postdocs to transfer research findings.
He added: This organization has 20 national institutes in the field of research, 35 provincial research centers and 314 research stations, and these fields have the ability to attract at least 200 postdoctorates.
Pointing out that the production of 185 million tons of agricultural products in the country is predicted for 1430, Khayamenkoui said: for this increase of 55 million tons of products, despite the limitations, we must improve productivity by increasing the penetration rate of science and technology and signing cooperation agreements. Khayamenkoui explained: With this measure, graduate students are directly connected with the implementation and receive the necessary training, and after graduation, students may be recruited to the same institutions where they completed their thesis.
Recruitment of postdoctoral fellows in the country is close to zero

He announced the launch of a national laboratory network this year and stated: With the launch of this network, all the laboratory capacities of the country’s ministries will be available to researchers.
