11 Iranians in the talent section of Berlin
The talent section of the Berlin Festival announced the selected list of participants for this course, which includes the presence of 11 young Iranian cinematographers.
Charso Press: The Berlin talent department announced the selected list of participants for this course, which will include 202 cinematographers in the fields of acting, filming, directing, broadcasting, cinema journalism, production, sound, editing, screenwriting, etc.
These numbers have been selected from among 3832 applicants from 131 different countries of the world to participate in more than forty different educational programs.
Three judges, including German actress Thelma Boabang, Maren Arnold and Iranian filmmaker Sadaf Foroughi, have chosen these participants to benefit from the MasterCard sponsorship prize.
According to Sine Iran, among the 202 selected cinematographers, there are eleven Iranian faces, including Shadi Karam Roudi (director and actor), Darnaz Hajiha (director), Neda Jabraili (actress and screenwriter), Sahand Sarhadhi (director and screenwriter). , Maryam Tashkhani (director and editor), Amina Maher (director and screenwriter), Pouyan Shalevar (editor), Daniel Asadi Faizi (director and producer), Maryam Khalilzadeh (director), Saman Hosseinpour (director and screenwriter). and Leila Khalilzadeh (director and screenwriter).
The 74th Berlin International Film Festival will be held in Germany from February 5 to 25, 2024 (26 February to 6 March), and Oscar-winning Kenyan-Mexican actress and filmmaker Lupita Nyong’o will head the international jury of the Berlin Film Festival.
