130 airstrikes on Yemen in five days with 50 killed and wounded

An unnamed Yemeni official told the Al-Masira website that Saudi fighter jets had bombed Sanaa and 130 other provinces 130 times in the past five days, according to Fars News Agency’s International Group.

According to him, about 50 people were killed or injured in these attacks. He said Saudi fighter jets had bombed four neighborhoods in Sanaa 26 times, the last of which occurred last night in al-Atab neighborhood, targeting a truck garage and a fuel depot.

The Yemeni official stressed that the Saudi Air Force has intensified its attacks on civilians in recent days amid global silence. A Saudi coalition spokesman also claimed in a statement that the attacks were carried out within the framework of international law.

On Saturday evening, a food warehouse was targeted in the Al-Atab neighborhood of Sanaa. Saudi coalition fighters also bombed the areas of Ennahda, Mazbah and around the military academy and Sanaa International Airport, killing and wounding a total of 13 people.

In this regard, a source in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Yemeni National Salvation Government told Sabant News Agency last night that Sanaa can respond to the aggression of Riyadh and Abu Dhabi at the right time and place, but still adheres to a just and honorable peace for the Yemeni people. Now, the continuation of the military aggression will not accept a comprehensive siege.
