He added: Applicants to purchase travel currency by visiting foreign exchange branches announced by these banks, in exchange for paying the equivalent of travel currency, will receive a receipt, which they must hand over to the currency counters at the airport and receive the purchased currency.
According to Tawakli, now both banks (Melli and Mellat) have currency counters and currency ATMs at the airports so that passengers can receive their currency.
Therefore, according to the decision of the central bank, 300 euros are allocated for ground travel and 500 euros for air travel; Travel currency will be handed over to passengers behind the airport gate.
