2 car price forecast in 1401 / wait for price reduction?

According to Tejarat News, car prices fluctuated last year. However, at the end of the year, the car market was in a recession. Buyers appear to be waiting for the outcome of the Vienna talks and refusing to buy a car.

Hamidreza Heidari, president of the Mashhad Exhibitors’ Union, told Tejarat News: “The price of a car in 1401 depends on the policies of the authorities.” The market rose in price in the last days of 1400.

He explained: “It seems that people are looking to buy a car for their travels.” If the market situation does not change in the next few days, it may continue to be the same until early 1401 and stability will be established.

The car market downturn continues

A car market expert told Tejarat News: The recession in the car market continues in the first week of April 1401. If people want to buy a car, we can promise stability and even lower prices in the future. Provided, of course, that the Vienna talks conclude.

Emad Jafari explained: In the last week of March, the price of some cars increased again due to the fluctuation of the dollar price, which was affected by the suspension of negotiations. This upward trend in car prices seems to be temporary.

Falling car prices

He continued: the government has proposed to increase car production as well as liberalize foreign cars. If negotiations resume, car prices are likely to fall.

Earlier, market activists had said that people’s purchasing power has decreased on the eve of Nowruz 1401, and only cars less than 100 million tomans are traded in the market.
