2 cases were investigated in the press court

According to Fars news agency’s judicial group, Ahmad Momeni Rad said: Two cases were heard this morning, Monday, 28 Shahrivar 1401, in the 9th branch of the criminal court of a province of Tehran, presided over by Judge Karimi.

He added: The jury issued its opinions after examining the cases and reading the documents and listening to the parties’ speeches and after deliberation.

The spokesperson of the jury of the press and political court stated: The first case was related to the manager of Farhikhtegan newspaper on charges of publishing false and untrue content, and the jury of the press court did not find the defendant guilty of the aforementioned charge by a majority vote.

He added: The second case was returned to the prosecutor’s office due to defects in the file.
