21 provinces of the country are exposed to heavy rains and strong winds today
The Meteorological Organization warned: With the intensification of atmospheric instability in 21 provinces, including Tehran, the possibility of river flooding, damage to temporary structures and flooding is very likely.
According to Moj news agency, based on the analysis of the organization’s synoptic and forward-looking maps Meteorology Today, in some areas of the provinces located in the northwest, the coastal provinces of the Caspian Sea and the provinces located in the southern slopes of the Central Alborz, showers, thunderstorms, temporary strong winds, dust and in some areas prone to hail are predicted.
Tomorrow and Thursday, in addition to these areas, this situation is expected in some areas of the west, North Khorasan, and on Friday in the northeast of the country and the eastern slopes of Alborz. On Saturday of next week, there will be scattered showers in the central Alborz and northern Arab highlands. Heavy rains are predicted for Ardabil, Gilan, Mazandaran provinces and provinces located in the southern slopes of Central Alborz and tomorrow Wednesday for the coastal provinces of the Caspian Sea in the northwest and provinces located in the southern slopes of Central Alborz.
It should be mentioned that during the next 5 days in the afternoon and early night in some areas of Isfahan, Yazd, Kerman, Sistan and Baluchistan and East Fars, torrential rain, thunder and temporary strong wind with dust are predicted.
Also, from today to Thursday in the provinces of Qazvin, Alborz, Tehran and Qom, in the afternoon hours, a strong wind with dust is predicted.
From Wednesday to Friday, due to the penetration of cool air, the temperature will drop in the northern part of the country. The Caspian Sea is also rough from Tuesday to Thursday.
