After Pasargad Bank, the highest interest payments were related to Mellat and Tejarat Banks, so that these banks paid 43.8 and 33.6 thousand billion Tomans for deposits during the mentioned period, respectively.

Also, the lowest interest paid on deposits in the first eight months of this year was related to Post Bank, so that this bank paid only 1.4 thousand billion tomans interest on deposits.

After Post Bank of Iran, the lowest paid interest was related to the Middle East, so that this bank paid only about 3 thousand billion tomans interest on deposits.

According to the latest statistics, until the end of November this year, Iran Post Bank has deposits equivalent to 72.5 thousand billion tomans.

It should be noted that banks generally pay deposit interest in proportion to the amount of deposits they have, and the high volume of deposit interest payment in some banks does not mean that the interest rate is high in that bank.
