25 natural works were recognized as having registered value

According to the General Directorate of Public Relations of the Ministry of Heritage, Culture, Tourism and Handicrafts, Mustafa Pourali, Director General of Registration and Privacy and Preservation and Restoration of Spiritual and Natural Heritage in a meeting of the Natural Heritage Registration Council held on Tuesday, November 9, 1400 in Fajr Hall “In this meeting, 32 proposed cases were discussed, and after summarizing the votes of the members, 25 natural works were recognized as worth registering,” Khabar said.
According to him, among the significant works approved in this council meeting, we can mention the old poplar tree of Gozaneh Amol village as the oldest poplar tree identified to date, the old pine tree of Bahabad city as the first registered pine tree in the country.
Pourali named Behesht Masoumeh Wetland of Qom, Bahabad Fossil Zone of Yazd as one of the other significant works registered in this meeting and added: “Qom province has five works dedicated to Mazandaran province.”
