4 car market forecasts in the country

According to Tejarat News, the car market has experienced many price fluctuations since the beginning of the year. Of course, some experts believe that as long as the supply of cars to the market is low, we will face an increase in car prices.

Commodity exchanges do not reduce prices

Emad Jafari, an expert in the automotive industry, told Tejarat News that the factory price will not decrease with the supply of cars in the commodity exchange. But the price gap between the market and the factory may be narrowing.

He explained: Of course, all these points are subject to the proper supply of the automaker. If offered in limited quantities, prices may even go up. But if it is offered in significant quantities, it is possible to reduce the price.

Imports should be free

Some also consider liberalizing car imports to the country as a solution to reduce prices.

Asad Karami, vice president of the Tehran Automobile Exhibitors Union, told Tejaratnews: “Until car imports into the country are implemented, car manufacturers will be able to increase prices.” Car imports should be done as much as possible. Because it will be profitable for the market and the people.

In his view, in a situation where automakers are producing low-quality products and pricing in this way without competition, there does not seem to be a reduction in prices. If imports are liberalized, there will be competition for domestic cars and prices will fall.

Political instability causes prices to rise

But another expert blames political factors for rising prices.

Hassan Karimi Sanjari, an automotive expert, says: “Currently, all markets are facing price increases. This price increase is due to economic issues and instability in political events. Despite these factors, the price increase is reasonable and these factors must be corrected to reduce prices.

Rising car prices in the world

Also, Amir Hassan Kakai, an expert in the automotive industry, told Tejarat News: “We are currently facing a five to seven percent inflation in the world.” In addition, the Ukraine-Russia war will increase energy prices and further increase metal prices. Car prices in the world are expected to rise.
