According to IRNA, Borhan Salavati said on Monday at the conference of the 8th World Week of Iranian Entrepreneurship held at Kurdistan University: “An entrepreneur is someone who has an idea and goes to Egypt to achieve business. It is still up to Egypt to achieve its goal.”
He added: “The entrepreneur should see the factors of production together and the public sector should facilitate matters, and on the other hand, organizational entrepreneurship and agility of the entrepreneurial path by the executive bodies should be facilitated.”
Director General of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare, stating that society’s view of the entrepreneur should be like the scientist, announced the increase in entrepreneurship counseling centers in the province in the last three years and said: the number of counseling centers has increased from three to seven in the last three years .
He announced the holding of exhibitions and entrepreneurship and educational courses as other programs this week and said: “For the first time in the country, the Women’s Entrepreneurship Atlas is being compiled in Kurdistan.”
Water and agriculture innovation centers will be set up at Kurdistan University
Director of Entrepreneurship Development, Growth and Innovation Centers of Kurdistan University also said: “Apart from the educational and research mission, many efforts have been made in Kurdistan University to develop entrepreneurship.”
Zahed Shami emphasized: In the near future, water and agricultural innovation centers will be set up, and the province has a special platform in this field that can play a role in the development of the province and provide a platform to enter the market by attracting ideas and empowerment.
He said that in the growth center we will have special facilitation and support for these centers, adding: “University entrepreneurship is a way to adapt education to the needs of society and in fact solving the problems of government, industry and economy requires scientific solutions of universities and research institutes.” This solution is achieved by creating an ecology of innovation and technology.
Director of Entrepreneurship Development, Growth and Innovation Centers of Kurdistan University emphasized: The university itself should be an entrepreneur and university members, including professors, staff and students, should have an entrepreneurial approach and behavior and develop entrepreneurial models by interacting with society.
Noting that the university is a suitable place for entrepreneurship based on science based on basic characteristics such as human capital flow, Shemi said: “Kurdistan University, along with its educational and research mission, has made many efforts to develop entrepreneurship and its Vice Chancellor for Research and Innovation has been active for a long time.” Has been.
He said: in the next one or two months, the province’s innovation complex will be launched, which includes the Civil, Industry and Mining Innovation Center.

Obstacles facing entrepreneurs
The head of the Kurdistan Entrepreneurs Association was another speaker at the conference, stating that the timely implementation of the law could pave the way for the growth of entrepreneurs.
Nasser Shokri, stating that the sanctions and the corona have bankrupted businesses or forced them to retire, added: “Despite all these difficulties, the entrepreneur feels a sense of religion to his community and country and does not feel despair and hopelessness, and in special circumstances The basis of his emotional intelligence turns over time according to the circumstances.
He emphasized: it may not be possible to reduce external factors with these prescriptions, but what bothers the entrepreneur is the internal factors and the shortcomings of the executive apparatus.
The head of the Kurdistan Entrepreneurs Association continued: “Although the executive managers want to support entrepreneurs, but in the continuation of the entrepreneurship process, there are problems in the middle layers that lead to the cessation of the project implementation process.”
Shukri added that he wished the Entrepreneurs Association did not have a statute: “This statute is problematic and we have not been able to have a coherent secretariat even in the province.”
He said to the membership of 75 top entrepreneurs of Kurdistan in the Entrepreneurs Association: I wish that all those who enter the field of business and entrepreneurship can become members of this association.
The head of the Kurdistan Entrepreneurs Association stated that the Kurdistan Entrepreneurship Centers, like all other centers, are on the margins, adding: “Heavy guarantees, long time for payment of facilities, unfavorable interaction of banks with entrepreneurs are among the problems that have slowed down the entrepreneurship process.”
