40 years of designing the book cover of the exhibition / Opening of the biennial exhibition of Iranian calligraphy

According to Fars News Agency, the opening of the sixth biennial exhibition of Iranian calligraphy and a specialized meeting was held at the Saba Cultural and Artistic Institute in Tehran to commemorate the artistic position of Emad al-Kitab Seifi Qazvini.

The opening ceremony of this exhibition was held yesterday (Tuesday, November 9) at the Khayal Gallery of the Academy of Arts. In this exhibition, 200 selected works have been displayed on the wall from 18 to 25 November, and those who are interested can visit this exhibition from 10:00 to 18:00.

The specialized conference of Emad al-Kitab Qazvini was held on Tuesday, November 9, at the Iran Hall of the Academy of Arts with a speech by Gholam Hossein Amirkhani.

The sixth National Biennial of Iranian Calligraphy was held in Qazvin from October 13 to 15, and in collaboration with the Academy of Arts, an exhibition of selected works of this biennial was displayed in Tehran.

The exhibition of the best volumes of books published by Hozeh Honari and Surah Mehr Publications in the last four decades, entitled “Under the Cover”, will open on Friday, November 13th.

According to Meqdad Shir Ali, the secretary of the “Under the Cover” exhibition, the opening of this event has started with more than 350 top cover designs of these years, with the presence of a group of artists, cultural officials and the managing director of various publications and will last until November 18th. At the end of the exhibition, two artists from each decade will be announced as selected.

In a part of the introductory text of this exhibition, it is written: “Under the cover” has a procedure from the cover of books of Hozeh Honari and Surah Mehr publications in more than four decades and the lower layers of the developments of the last forty years. This exhibition is an invitation to watch; “Look under the cover and what can be seen beyond.”

Those who are interested can visit the gallery of the House of Photographers, located on Somayeh Street, next to the Art Center, to attend the opening at 5:00 PM. This exhibition hosts visitors every day from 15:00 to 17:00.
