400,000 housing units will be built for workers – Tejaratnews

According to Tejarat News, Solat Mortazavi, on July 1st, during a visit to the labor housing construction projects in Borujen city, stated that one of the important development plans of the government is the construction of housing for different members of the society, stating that the government’s targeting in the field of housing is based on abilities, talents and facilities. country, but unfortunately this issue was neglected for years.

The Minister of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare, pointing out that part of the coordination in the production of housing is the responsibility of this ministry, added: Based on the memorandum of understanding between the Deputy Minister of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare, the Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Development and the head of the National Land Organization and Housing has been concluded. About 400,000 residential units will be designed and implemented for workers over the course of four years.

Referring to the participation of benefactors in building housing for workers in Borujen city, he continued: Industrial owners, factory managers and benefactors in this city have built units for young couples and young workers, and these benefactors should be appreciated.

Mortazavi stated: We hope that the obligations of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development regarding the transfer of land to provide housing for workers will be fulfilled as soon as possible.

The Minister of Cooperation, Labor and Social Welfare pointed out that the construction of 400,000 residential units for workers has started in various provinces of the country, and the design and implementation of about 150,000 residential units should be done annually. Urbanization is located and resource management, as well as the organization and guidance of labor cooperatives are done by the Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare, banks also act based on the rules to grant facilities.
