“44 years” photo exhibition, photos of the most important event in Iran’s contemporary history


According to Fars news agency, the photo exhibition “44 Years” will be opened on Tuesday, 11 Bahman 1401 at 16:00 at “Khane Gallery” of the Islamic Revolution Art District.

The photo exhibition “44 Years” displays photos of the presence and life of Imam Khomeini (RA) in France and the events in Iran in the days leading to the victory of the Islamic Revolution in 1957. In this exhibition, there are 83 photos from 10 photographers, 7 of whom are from French Sipa photo agency; It goes to the wall.

The photo exhibition “44 years” contains photos of the most important event in Iran’s contemporary history, which includes 9 photos in the size of 100 x 70 cm by Qasim Hajmohammadi, 40 photos in the size of 20 x 25 by the photographers of the French Sipa photo agency, 15 photos in the size of 30 x 40 by The late Gurban Khalili and 19 photos in the size of 50 x 70 cm are by Michel Setbon.

In this photo exhibition, 15 single-copy works printed from the missing negatives of the late Gurban Khalili will be displayed along with the masterpiece “Nezan Sarbaz”, which depicts the final days of the victory of the Islamic Revolution Movement in Iran.

Also in this exhibition, the photos of Qasim Hajmohammadi, an Iranian photographer, and Michel Setbon, a prominent French photographer, show the events of November 12 to February 22, 2017 in the cities of Qom and Tehran; They narrate.

This exhibition will be held from Wednesday, February 12th to March 3rd, 1401, on Saturdays to Wednesdays from 10:00 to 19:00 and on Thursdays and Fridays from 15:00 to 20:00 at Khana Gallery, located in the Islamic Revolution Art Zone, Samiye St., intersection of Hafez St. Is.
