5 largest food exporters in the world

The export of Russian agricultural products has seen a 12% increase by the end of 2022 and has reached 41.6 billion dollars.

This report shows that Russia’s export revenues from the sale of grain have increased by 18%, from the sale of oil by 25% and from the sale of meat products by 23%. At the same time, export earnings in food and processing industries increased by 1.6 percent.

Shipments of fish and seafood and dairy products have increased by 12 and 1.9 percent compared to last year.

According to this report, the global export of Russian agricultural products in 2022 set a new record and for the first time crossed the 2 trillion dollar mark.

The share of the 20 largest food exporting countries in the world is 69.8%, which was recorded at 67.9% in 2021.

Last year, America was still the largest exporter of agricultural products in the world and Brazil was the second largest exporter of food in the world. The income of the two countries in this field is estimated at 193 billion dollars and 135 billion dollars, respectively.

The Netherlands ranks third with food exports amounting to 121 billion dollars. Germany and China were recognized as the fourth and fifth largest food exporters in the world last year.
