5 Unanswered Questions about “Composite Game” / What are the flaws of the Korean violent series?

According to a Fars News Agency cinema reporter, it was this summer that the 9-episode series “Squid Game” was released by Netflix. This violent and anti-capitalist series was able to open its place among users in a short period of time and had 130 million online viewers. According to official statistics, the game ranked first in 94 countries and was watched by 142 million households. Meanwhile, according to documents obtained by Bloomberg, the series has earned about $ 900 million for Netflix.
Huang Dong Hyuk, the creator of the compound game series, wrote the series in 2008, but no one was willing to support its production. But now the situation is different and his series is so popular that in an interview he stated that he has to make the second season of “Composite Game”. He says he has the story of the second season in mind but is looking to plan the process well.
So, while we wait for the second season, it means that we can wait for the answers to some of the questions that remained in the minds of the audience at the end of the first season.
1- What is the story of the guards?
We know that the guards are ordinary people, because a participant in the game of honeycomb candy (Dalguna sweets), after stealing the guard’s gun, forces him to take off his mask and shouts: “You are just a child!” The question now is how are the guards absorbed? And what makes them happy to participate in a cruel and humiliating competition? Also, what are their career advancement opportunities like? That is, how can they go from a circle to a triangle or a square?
One hypothesis states that the color of the card that the candidate picks up during the selection process can determine whether you become a player or a guard? Guy-hoon picked up a blue card and woke up as a player wearing a green jersey. Maybe if he chose the red card, he would wake up as a guard in a red suit and a mask with a PlayStation theme!
2- Where are the other winners?
The files found by police officer Jun-ho show that the games have been running since at least 1988, and we know that the 2015 winner, In-ho, is now the Games Man (Front Man). Previous winners could have joined the game like him, but why should they do so when they have more than the original game prize ($ 40 million) in their pocket?
This shows that several billionaires have witnessed the game somewhere in the world and never thought they knew the truth of this horrible game, and while having fun, they witnessed the brutal killing of 455 people. Surely during the 33 years of the game, one could speak, whether for moral reasons or even mental breakdown.
3- What happened to those 14 missing players?
How about 14 players returning to the game after the initial vote on whether to stop or resume the game? They saw the real face of the game – about 200 people died in the first game (green light, red light) – and concluded that the game’s dirty prize was not enough to turn them into killers. So why didn’t even one of them report his experiences to the police?
Guy-hoon tried to report the games while he was free. Of course, it is understandable that the police do not pay attention to the report of a man with a turbulent history, but what about the other 14 people? That is, they did not submit any separate reports to the police ?!
4- Who really runs the game?
By the end of the game, we know that player number 1 (Oh Il-Nam) made the game, and we believe that he is in charge of the game. So why does the game continue in the final scenes of the game after the death of its creator? Guy-hoon witnessed that the game’s hire was once again doing his evil business, so he canceled his trip to the United States and went to see his daughter at the last minute.
On the other hand, VIP guests who come to watch the final rounds of the game say “the match in Korea is the best”. How many matches are there? Who is the real number 1? And is Guy-hoon going to destroy this whole corrupt system?
5. Is player number 1 the real father of Guy-hoon?
Gay-hoon’s father’s name is never mentioned, but when he and Player # 1 go to a neighborhood built for marbles, they both say they grew up in a neighborhood “just like this.” When Guy-hoon reveals that he only likes chocolate milk, Oh Il-nam says that his son was “just like you.” And when Gay-hoon seems to have left the game forever, it’s Il-nam who goes out in person to find him and bring him back, maybe a few more days before he dies to make a late bond between father and son. Be an opportunity.
Also, we have little information about Oh Il-Nam’s background, but we do know for sure that he has a son. The man who breathes his last expects his son to be present at his bedside, yet the only one in the room to witness his death is Guy-hoon.
There also seems to be a special connection between the numbers of Ilnam and Gihon: number 1, the first, and number 456, the last. Can these two be the first and last members of their family?
This puzzle can solve many questions. When Giuhon apparently accidentally dyes his hair red at the end of the season, is that the equivalent of choosing a red card and returning to the game as a technical staff member? To take responsibility from his father as the head of the game in the family business?
We have to wait for the second season and see what happens.
