According to Tejarat News, Javad Sadat Firzani, adviser to the Minister of Roads and Urban Development in the field of housing, emphasized that any person who does not register his house in the housing and real estate system is considered an empty house.
He also stated: Our priority is to identify empty houses The major owners include banks and private companies, which have so far identified 560,000 units and introduced them to the Tax Affairs Organization for assignment.
He added: This year, in order to organize the rental market, out of these 60,000 units, the Tax Administration has issued a certificate for them, and the owners of these properties have been notified to collect taxes.

Referring to the reason why some houses are empty in Parand and Pardis, he added: One of the reasons for this issue is the lack of proper distribution of housing because some irresponsible people in a speculative atmosphere bought these houses at different times from those who volunteered to buy these units and are part of the tithe. There were those who used the facilities, they caused these houses to be among the empty houses that the law should be applied to and taxes should be collected.
The Governor of Tehran stated: Full identification of such units and written warning to the last owners are on the agenda so that these units are put into use and we distance ourselves from the speculative space of housing.
Fakhari continued: The latest status of the national housing movement and the progress of the plan and the reason for the slowness of their activities were also examined and necessary orders were issued to the institutions.
