The percentage of the number and amount of checks received in December 1400 were equal to 91.7% and 90.1%, respectively, and in January 2016 were 92% and 88.9%, respectively.

In the mentioned month, among other provinces of the country, the highest ratio of the number of received checks to the total exchange checks in the province was allocated to Gilan (93.8%), Alborz (92.5%) and Yazd (92.2%) provinces, respectively. Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad (85.4%), Lorestan (87.3%) and North Khorasan (87.7%) provinces have the lowest ratio of the number of received checks to the total checks exchanged in the province.

In the month under review, among other provinces of the country, the highest ratio of the value of received checks to the total value of exchange checks in the province was allocated to the provinces of Gilan (91.8%), Alborz (91.7%) and Hormozgan (90.4%), respectively. Kermanshah (74.6%), Isfahan (81.5%) and Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad (82.9%) provinces have the lowest ratio of the value of received checks to the total value of exchanged checks in the province.

About 553 thousand checks worth about 305 thousand billion rials were returned in January 1400 in the whole country, which shows an increase of 1.6 percent and 19.6 percent in terms of number and amount, respectively, compared to the previous month. In the mentioned month, 8.4% and 11.3% of the total number and amount of exchanged checks were returned, respectively. The percentage of the number and amount of returned checks in December 1400 were equal to 8.3 percent and 9.9 percent, respectively, and in January 1399 were equal to 8 percent and 11.1 percent, respectively.

In the reported month in Tehran province, about 157 thousand checks were returned with a value of more than 135 thousand billion Rials, which were returned in terms of number of 7.6% and in terms of value of 9.8% of the total exchange checks. In the mentioned month, among other provinces of the country, the highest ratio of the number of returned checks to the total exchange checks in the province, respectively, to Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad provinces (14.6%), Lorestan (12.7%) and North Khorasan (12.3%). ) And the provinces of Gilan (6.2%), Alborz (7.5%) and Yazd (7.8%) have the lowest ratio of the number of returned checks to the total number of checks exchanged in the province.

In the month under review, among other provinces of the country, the highest ratio of the value of returned checks to the total value of checks exchanged in the province were Kermanshah (25.4%), Isfahan (18.5%) and Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad (17.1%), respectively.
