6 billion cubic meters of floodwater for which country/province experienced the most rainfall


According to the economic reporter of Fars news agency, based on the statistics provided by the Iran Water Resources Management Company, the recent torrential rains have provided the country with 6015 million cubic meters of water until August 10.

According to this information, up to the mentioned date, 6015 million cubic meters of water was obtained for the country, 1288 million cubic meters have been stored on the surface behind the country’s dams.

In addition, another 4,727 million cubic meters have been infiltrated into the ground to feed the country’s aquifers, or collected on the surface in natural reservoirs and wetlands.

According to Fars report, the greatest effect in the increase of recent flood inflows has occurred in the dams of Sistan and Baluchistan province and Hormozgan.

In this regard, in the province of Sistan and Baluchistan, the previous dam, 61 million cubic meters; dam subordinate 54 million cubic meters; dam Mashkid Above, 22 million cubic meters have increased the input.
