6 cities of Tehran province are polluted

based on the data of the control company Air quality in Tehran the air of 6 cities in Tehran province is polluted, and Tehran is in orange status with an index of 104.

According to this report, Varamin with an index of 165, Qarchak with an index of 169, and Baghershahr with an index of 178 are in the red state of pollution, which means unhealthy for all groups.

Also, Shahryar with an index of 149, Shahr Quds with an index of 131 are in orange status, which according to the quality control company’s recommendation, people with heart or lung disease, the elderly and children should reduce long or heavy outdoor activities.

From the beginning of this year until now, 9 days of clean air, 175 days of acceptable air, 57 days of unhealthy air for sensitive groups and 6 days of unhealthy air have been recorded in Tehran.
