Referring to the solutions proposed in the joint meeting with the members of the Economic Commission regarding the return of foreign currency from exports to the country’s economic cycle, the head of the central bank added: Imports against exports and the return of foreign currency facilities taken from banks were among the solutions that It was brought up and discussed in today’s meeting, and finally it was decided that the mentioned cases should be further discussed and investigated in the joint committees with the presence of exporters, Central Bank officials and members of the Economic Commission, so that we can increase the country’s exports with scientific solutions and increase the currency. The result should be used for the import of the country.
Saleh Abadi said regarding the settlement time of the foreign exchange resulting from exports: a specific time frame and opportunity has been set by the exporters to return the currency to the economic cycle, but this is at the discretion of the Central Bank and is flexible.
He stated that banks always provide facilities to the areas of export and production, which are the main priorities of the country; He stated: The amount of facilities that banks have paid to the working capital of economic and production enterprises is equivalent to 66% of the payment facilities of the banking system, which is a significant figure. Directing the payment of facilities to the field of export and production is one of the priorities of the Central Bank.
