7.8% decrease in bond sales in August

The important point in the issue of bond issuance is that in this way the government can cover its budget deficit without creating money and increasing inflation.
According to this year’s budget, the government should issue 125,000 billion tomans of Islamic financial securities, of which 70,200 billion tomans have been issued by the end of August, of which 57,900 billion are government debt securities, 6,700 billion tomans are municipal debt securities, and Five thousand and 500 billion tomans is the debt of the company.
An examination of the central bank’s charts shows that bond sales in the first five months of this year fell by 7.8 percent compared to the same period last year. According to the corporate bond sales statistics, during this period, the bonds decreased by 19.3% and the bonds by 12.1%.
The amount of bond sales until the end of July was 19 thousand and 300 billion tomans and this figure increased by 72.2% in August. According to the Central Bank, 33,300 billion tomans of bonds were sold in August, of which 32,600 billion tomans were government debt securities and the rest were corporate debt securities. Municipal debt securities were not sold in August.
