74% of the resources of the Export Development Bank are cheap

According to Monetary News, quoting the public relations of the Export Development Bank of Iran, Habib Ahmadi, Branch and Marketing Manager of the Export Development Bank of Iran, said about the performance of the bank’s branches in the service sector: Despite sanctions, the total services provided in the letter of credit Imports by the bank’s branches reached $ 153 million by the end of October, and in the letter of credit and export credits sector, it grew by 378 percent to $ 240 million.
According to the Director of Branches and Marketing of the Export Development Bank of Iran, in the first seven months of this year, the bank’s branches issued $ 595 million in foreign exchange remittances, which shows a growth of 61% compared to last year and represents 154% of achieving goals.
He described the performance of the branches of the Export Development Bank in the domestic letter of credit sector as favorable and said: From the beginning of this year to the end of October, more than 16,000 billion rials of domestic letter of credit has been opened in branches, which is 270% more than the same period last year. And has achieved 108% access to the bank’s goals.
Ahmadi pointed out: “During this period, we have bought $ 18 million and sold $ 290 million worth of foreign currency to the customers of the Export Development Bank of Iran, which shows a growth of 740%.”
He also announced the amount of guarantees issued in the branches of this bank as 1,618 billion Rials, which is equal to the amount of guarantees issued last year.
The director of branches and marketing of the Export Development Bank added: “In the first seven months of this year, 35 new legal clients and 13 real clients have been attracted and 46 clients have been reabsorbed, and a total of 94 clients have achieved 154% success in achieving their goals.”
Announcing that the company’s banking package has been compiled and announced to present to the customers of this sector, he said: “We currently have 110 corporate banking customers, which will reach 120 customers by the end of this year.” And for this collection, the corporate banking package has been prepared and announced.
I have to say; Export Development Bank has 38 branches across the country, which have 485 employees. This represents 45% of the total staff of the Export Development Bank.
Of the 38 branches of the Export Development Bank, 31% are located in Tehran and 69% in other cities of the country. Also, out of this number of branches, eight are excellent branches, eight are first degree branches and 22 are second degree branches.
