75% increase in the price of bus tickets for Arbaeen trips in terms of empty traffic


According to the economic reporter of Fars news agency, Shahriar Efendizadeh announced today in a press conference at the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development: It is expected that this year one to one and a half million pilgrims will be sent to Arbaeen and border terminals using buses.

He continued: The increase in the price of the Arbaeen bus ticket this year is 75% due to the completely empty traffic.

Deputy Transport Minister of Roads and Urban Development said: For example, according to the current rate of 135 thousand tomans, the ticket price from Tehran to Ilam is multiplied by 1.75, and the final price of the Arbaeen bus ticket is determined for the period of 15 to 30 Shahrivar.

According to Fars report, with this calculation, the base price of the bus for pilgrims from Tehran to Ilam is estimated to be around 236 thousand tomans, of course, this price will be higher for longer routes.

* The fuel quota of buses for Shahrivar is equal to 2.5 times of their credit in August

The Deputy Minister of Transport of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development announced: According to the agreement made with the Ministry of Oil, the fuel quota of buses for September is equal to 2.5 times their credit in August, which must be discharged for October.

He added: The amount of fuel allocated to the buses is based on their performance in the previous month, which for Arbaeen trips will be based on the month of August, and 2.5 times the quota will be allocated to the buses.
