800,000 national housing will be built by the end of the year – Tejaratnews
According to Tejarat News, Akbar Nikzad, head of the Housing Foundation, said: We started the national housing movement plan in both urban and rural areas about a year and a half ago, and we carried out the projects seriously. Even now, we regularly follow up on the work. We are also looking for the units to be habitable.
He added: Until today, 455 thousand units of the National Movement have been started by the Housing Foundation and 147 thousand units have been delivered. We currently have 308,000 units in operation, of which 158,000 units are in villages and 150,000 units are in cities. Our plan is to increase these 455 thousand units to 800 thousand units by the end of the year.
Referring to the increase of the National Housing Movement’s facility ceiling up to 550 million tomans per unit, Nikzad said: Our urban units used to receive 350 million tomans.
The head of the Housing Foundation stated: We expect the projects implemented by the Housing Foundation in the cities to benefit from 550 million tomans facilities, which fortunately the banking system also supports in this direction. But our expectation is that the supplementary payment process will be accelerated.
The National Housing Movement is waiting for the credit of 100 thousand billion tomans
The Chairman of the Executive Board of the National Housing Fund had previously announced: 100 thousand billion tomans of credit will be deposited into the National Housing Fund, which will speed up the implementation of the national housing construction plan.
As Tasnim wrote, Mohammad Reza Mahdiar Esmaili said: This credit will be provided through the channels foreseen in the Housing Production Jump Law for depositing into this fund as the exclusive financial provider of the housing sector.
Esmaili continued: This amount of credit was obtained from the return of mortgage loans, the deposit of the National Land and Housing Organization, and the acquisition of land.
The Chairman of the Executive Board of the National Housing Fund also stated: The National Land and Housing Organization has so far deposited 433 billion Tomans into the account of the National Housing Fund, and by accelerating the process of depositing the funds expected from this organization, it will be possible for this fund to support more of the half-finished Mehr housing projects and the preparation of the National Housing Movement Plan.
