9.5 million cubic meters of water entered Tehran’s dams/ Details of increasing water storage in 5 provinces


According to the economic correspondent of Fars News Agency, many Iranian people in a wide area of ​​the country such as Sistan and Baluchistan, Kerman, Fars, Yazd, Isfahan, Tehran, Alborz and other regions faced significant rains in the middle of summer.

Perhaps one of the most promising news related to such rains is the statistics related to the increase in the country’s dam resources. Based on this, according to the latest statistics provided by the Water Research Institute, while the average rainfall in the water year of 1401 is 3.8 mm during August, 9.8 mm of rainfall has been recorded during August this year.

Based on this, according to the latest statistics recorded in the Iranian Water Resources Management Company, the highest amount of runoff entering the country’s dams in recent rainfall systems belongs to the province of Sistan and Baluchistan, where the 5 big dams of this province receive a total of 133 million cubic meters of input. They registered the date of August 8.

The next rank of the water input to the dams is affected by the recent rainfall system belonging to Hormozgan province, in this province, 4 big dams had a total of 100 million cubic meters of water input.

Tehran province has also received 9.5 million cubic meters of water in its 5 big dams up to the mentioned date, and the dams of Kerman province along with Zayandeh Rood Dam have also received 8.2 million cubic meters of water.

Based on this, according to the mentioned statistics, the amount of water entering the dams of the 5 provinces of the country, which had the highest rainfall until the end of August 8, is a total of 258.6 million cubic meters.
