90% of home business credits were attracted in Khuzestan last year



Arsalan Ghamgin said in an interview with IRNA on Friday: 800 billion rials of loans for 1400 home-based businesses were announced in September last year with a 10-fold increase in quotas compared to the years (98 and 99).

He stated: This general administration, by holding meetings of the technical committee of home-based businesses and dividing the credit city, introduced the applicants to the operating banks, including workers’ welfare and development of cooperatives, from September.

He added: “Despite the lack of facilities, but a large number of projects introduced by the executive apparatus, before being introduced to the bank, were visited and in the meetings of the home business expert committee with the presence of representatives of the executive apparatus and operating banks, plans were decided.” Which lead to sustainable employment to be introduced to the bank to receive facilities.

Ghamgin continued: As of June 12, 1401, 720 billion rials have been absorbed from the approved credit of 1400 quota home businesses in Khuzestan and the rest of the projects are filing or concluding a contract.

He stated: The Cooperative Development Bank of 100% and the Workers’ Welfare Bank of Khuzestan have absorbed 85% of their quota in the home business sector approved by 1400, and this province is one of the top provinces in terms of the percentage of credit absorption.

Director General of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare of Khuzestan added: The credits of the share of 1401 will be announced to the provinces soon by the relevant ministry.
