According to Tejarat News, the review of the 6-month financial statements of Tehran Cement Company shows that the company’s production increased by more than 12% in the first half of this year, from 1,484,000 tons in the first 6 months of 2011 to 1,675,000 tons. It has reached the end of the first half of this year. This issue caused Satran to increase its sales volume in the first 6 months of this year. So that the sales amount of Tehran’s cement increased from 1 million 508 thousand tons in the first half of last year with an increase of 9.51% to 1 million 651 thousand tons in the first 6 months of this year.

In this way, Setran’s sales income in the first half of this year increased by more than 59% from 998 billion tomans in the first 6 months of last year to 1,589 billion Toman arrived at the end of September this year. Also, the total price of the company’s sold products also grew by 46% during this period and reached 897 billion tomans from 615 billion tomans.

Satran’s profitability leap

This difference between the growth of the company’s income from the point of sale and the total price of the sold products caused Setran’s gross profit to grow by more than 80% in the first half of this year and reach 961 billion Tomans. It should be noted that this figure was recorded at 383 billion tomans in the same period last year.

In addition, the operating profit of Tehran Cement reached 646 billion tomans in the first 6 months of this year with a jump of 81.68% from 355 billion tomans in the first half of last year.

Satran’s pockets were full

A look at Setran’s financial statements for the first 6 months of this year indicates that the company’s non-operating income has grown by 272% during this period, and this has contributed to a 94% jump in the company’s net profit.

In this way, the net profit of Tehran Cement Company reached 621 billion tomans from 320 billion tomans in the first half of this year. Of course, it must be said that Setran did not experience a jump in EPS due to the increase in its capital and made only 36 Tomans per share.
