A bomb blast in Pakistan’s Balochistan province has killed four people


Pakistani officials announced the explosion at a ceremony in Balochistan province, according to a Fars News Agency Afghanistan correspondent.

According to Pakistan’s Dawn newspaper, the blast occurred at the annual “Sabi Mullah” ceremony in Balochistan province shortly after the presence of Pakistani President Aref Alavi.

A senior official of the anti-terrorist organization in the Sabi region of Balochistan said about the details of the explosion: “It was most likely a suicide bombing, but the investigation is ongoing.”

Officials of the Balochistan Health Department also announced that 28 injured people have been taken to the hospital so far, of which 5 are seriously injured.

A suicide bomber struck shortly after noon in front of a Shi’ite mosque in Peshawar, killing at least 57 people and wounding more than 194 others.
