According to IRNA, the members of the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations (ECOSOC) in their meeting on Monday local time, unanimously elected Ms. Lashzara Asuwa as the head of this council for one year without voting.
This female diplomat will head the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations from July 2022 to 2023.
