A festival to introduce electronic music / Sharifian talks about innovation in southern music

According to the Fars News Agency’s music correspondent, the call for the first Lianik Awards was published with the aim of introducing Bushehr’s innovative musical instrument and competing sounds from southern Iran.
Mohsen Sharifian told a Fars reporter about the idea of making “Lianik” (electronic signpost) and its unveiling last year until a festival with the same excuse is held this year: “My goal in inventing” Lianik “for Bushehr local music was to Introduce the instrument to the students so that they can practice more easily, because the southern instrument “Nihanban” normally has a lot of sound to practice, but with the Lianik instrument they can easily practice with a headphone without disturbing anyone and hearing the sound of the instrument. . Now they can practice with this instrument whenever they want.
He continued: “My other motivation was for other artists in the field of regional music to get acquainted with this technique and industry, because finally today electronic discussion has become widespread all over the world and new technological advances are inevitable. If we do not adapt, we will certainly not be able to achieve the ideal conditions and the preservation and dissemination of the magnificent music of the regions that are derived from the ancient culture of our land. That’s why we decided to start this, and I’m sure the idea of integrating the electronics sector into local indigenous manufacturing will succeed and find its way. Of course, we hope that it will find its way, and we are trying to steer this integration and innovation in the right direction. Therefore, on the one-year anniversary of the unveiling of this local instrument, which was invented with a local view of the world (Global), we decided to hold a competition that could lead enthusiasts and students to learn more about our local and regional music.

And for students to share their experiences and nurture their talents and abilities, hold the first Lianic Awards event on Instagram.
