The synopsis of “A House Near the Sun” states: A man in the city of Kobani (Rojava, Syrian Kurdistan) does not want to leave his tailor’s house after ISIS attacks. She hopes her customers will come back and always talks to those in the closed room, until one day she wants to make a special meal for those in the room and goes out to get groceries. When he returns, he finds that people have entered his house and messed everything up. He decides to destroy the wall of the room and give sunlight to his daughter and wife.
