A memorandum of cooperation was signed between Iran and Cuba in the field of veterinary medicine


According to Fars News Agency, quoting the public relations of the Veterinary Organization, a memorandum of understanding was signed this Tuesday morning between the Veterinary Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the National Animal Health Center of the Cuban Ministry of Agriculture in the field of animal health and veterinary medicine.

“The purpose of this memorandum of understanding between Iran and Cuba is to prevent, control and eradicate and improve the care and monitoring system for animal diseases, zoonotic diseases and also to facilitate,” said Seyed Mohammad Aghamiri, head of the country’s veterinary organization. “In the matter of trade in the goods contained in the set of health regulations of the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) has been signed.”
Referring to the importance of increasing economic cooperation between the two countries in line with the common political views between the two countries, the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Cuba against imperialism, he added: “Experiences and knowledge related to veterinary medicine, trade exchanges of veterinary drugs, antiparasitic drugs, biological and immunological products and diagnostic facilities in the territory of the two countries with the aim of transferring technology to the other country are among the achievements that will be realized by implementing this memorandum.”
Ricardo Cabrisas, Deputy Prime Minister and Special Envoy of the President of the Republic of Cuba, arrived in Tehran a few days ago to hold the 18th meeting of the Joint Commission for Economic Cooperation between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Cuba. The commission will review cooperation between the two countries on food, food exports, oil and energy, vaccines and biological materials, medicine and technology, banking and trade.
