Thanks to the new feature of WhatsApp, users of this messenger can add voice messages to their status section in the future.
WhatsApp has been making significant changes to its messenger over the past months, testing various features and releasing them. Now, according to a new report, the company is working on a new feature that will allow users to use voice messages in their status section.
WhatsApp’s new feature, which has been under development since July 2022, has now been released to a number of testers, according to WABetaInfo’s latest beta version of the messenger. According to this database, by providing the mentioned feature, voice messages can also be added to the status section, which is currently used for creating text notes.
Similar to the ability to send voice messages in WhatsApp chat, in this feature, the send button turns into a microphone, which can be used to record the voice message. Like other status updates, voice messages are shared with contacts in this section and will be visible for 24 hours.
It should be noted that the use of voice messages in the status will be associated with a time limit of 30 seconds. In addition, if your contacts are using the old version of the program, they will not be able to hear them. Meta Messenger has recently been updated with new features, including the ability to block users directly through message notifications, local transfer of users’ chat history, and the ability to use a proxy.
