A Pakistani donated 30 million dollars to the victims of the earthquake in Syria and Turkey


According to the correspondent of Fars News Agency, citing the Guardian, an unnamed Pakistani citizen living in the United States has donated 30 million dollars to the victims of the earthquakes in Syria and Turkey.

Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif wrote on Twitter that he was deeply affected by this action.

It is said that this Pakistani citizen has made this financial contribution by attending the Turkish Embassy in Washington.

Murad Merkan, the Turkish ambassador in Washington, has confirmed the receipt of this financial aid.

The United Nations World Food Program has also allocated 77 million dollars in aid to provide food for 590 thousand people in Turkey and 284 thousand people in Syria who were displaced due to the earthquake. So far, more than 36,000 people have been confirmed dead in the recent earthquake in Turkey and Syria.

It is said that the number of victims of the recent earthquake will increase as the probability of survival of the people under the rubble decreases.
