A research project on the harmonic explanation of the ram symbol engraved on paintings and handwovens/ the manifestation of the ram symbol in various cultural manifestations of the Bakhtiari people

This researcher added: Considering the huge historical and cultural scope of the use of the ram symbol and considering that this symbol still has a special place in the Bakhtiari culture and today has a serious appearance in many cultural manifestations of this people, this research has tried To explore this symbol in the form of rituals and crafts of the Bakhtiari people with a descriptive-analytical method based on documentary studies and conducting interviews, and from the point of view of symbology and with a hermeneutic approach, and investigate the background of these traditions.

Zare stated: This research, with a comparative and hermeneutic approach and inspired by the method of interpretive anthropology, tries to analyze the philosophical viewpoints of this symbol by considering the cultural heritage of the Bakhtiari people.

According to him, the findings of the research show that this symbol in the eyes of the Bakhtiari people is completely related to its mythological and Avesta meaning and has somehow been reproduced in the traditions and rituals and manifested in various cultural manifestations of the Bakhtiari people.
