A solution for showing art and experience films

Charso Press: According to the public relations of the Art and Experience Cinema Group, a meeting of the directors of the Art and Experience Cinema Group with the filmmakers of Ardabil was held yesterday (Sunday, 30th of Bahman) hosted by the Youth Cinema Association and the General Department of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Ardabil Province.
Mohammad Tayyeb, head of the Art Experience Cinema Group, discussed the problems of the filmmakers in Ardabil province and discussed with them how to screen their works in the Art Experience Group.
At the beginning, while welcoming, he thanked the filmmakers for welcoming them to attend this meeting and said: I am very happy to be present in this gathering and this meeting was held so that we can address the issues of filmmaking together.
The director of the Hanro-Tabsarabe film group added: The Hanro-Tabsarabe film group is like a film distribution company, not a film production company. The main focus of the Art Experience Group is to create opportunities to introduce and showcase new talents in Iranian cinema. In the past years, film production was also done in the center for the development of documentary and experimental cinema, but now this issue is being pursued in the form of the first film club in the Farabi Cinema Foundation.
Emphasizing that we intend to use non-cinema theaters and cultural centers to show movies in cities where cinema halls are not available, Tayeb said: We will identify theaters such as amphitheaters, cultural centers, etc. be and show the films of Hanrotbareh film group to the audience.
Pointing out that artistic experience films are shown in the cities only on Wednesdays, he added: “If a film is well received, we will definitely increase the number of days it is shown in the cities.” Considering the average movie audience in the cities, we decided to show these movies only in one day (Wednesdays).
He pointed to the support of the Art Experience Group and added: the proceeds from the sale of the film will be given to the filmmaker, promotional activities, holding an unveiling ceremony and a review meeting, showing the film to critics, artists and media members, interviewing the film crew. The online release of the film, the screening of the film in different cities at the suggestion of the director, etc. are among the supports of this group. When the filmmaker stands by his film, the amount of support increases. The screening of films in the Art Experience cinemas does not end after the continuous screening, but events in the form of film week and review meetings will be held in different cities.
In response to the question of one of the filmmakers regarding the regulations of how to send films to Hanro-Tabsarabeh, Tayeb continued: The rules and regulations are available on the website of Hanro-Tabsarabeh. Having a screening license is necessary to register a filmmaker’s request.
The head of the film group of Hanro Taqbareh added: According to the meeting held with Amir Rajabi, the general director of culture and Islamic guidance of Ardabil province, we are planning to show a number of selected films released in 1401 in the form of an event in May 1402 with the presence of directors of works in Ardabil province. To show for those who are interested, and also to organize review meetings and educational workshops for artists, students and filmmakers of Ardabil.
In the end, the director of the Art Experience film group asked all the filmmakers of Ardabil province to consider themselves as members of the Art Experience family.
