According to the Mehr news agency, citing the public relations of the project, the documentary series “This is a protest” produced and directed by Mehdi Mahmoudi and written by Mohammad Mehdi Godarzi and Mehdi Mahmoudi, will be aired every night at 21:00 on the Documentary Channel from Saturday, May 30th.

This documentary collection, which is a product of Documentary Network, Surah Documentary Center and Nahdat Media Art Center, is a challenging and fresh story behind the scenes of student movements and activities.

In this collection, there is a double focus on the period of Seyyed Mohammad Khatami’s government and the formation of the second movement of Khordad, and it also reviews the political and social events of the country at that point in time.

In the 6-part documentary “This is a protest” some of the student figures who were active at that time were interviewed and tried to narrate the stories and events from an observer’s point of view and avoid analysis and confrontation as much as possible.

“This is a protest” is broadcast every night at 21:00 on Documentary Network and it is repeated the next day at 1:00 in the morning.
