According to Aria Heritage, citing the public relations of the Tourism and Automobile Association of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in this meeting, which was held today, Monday, December 11, 1400 in the meeting hall of the Tourism and Automobile Association, a group of participants attended the Fitor exhibition. They paid special attention to the presence and characteristics of our country’s pavilion in the exhibition.
Mohammad Hossein Soofi, Director of the Tourism and Automobile Association, mentioned the Fitour International Tourism Exhibition as a great opportunity to show our God-given abilities and talents and said: Show off to other countries. But the corona pandemic in the last two years has left our country’s tourism industry deprived of the blessings of tourists and travel enthusiasts. “It also caused damage to jobs in the industry.”
He added: “Given the losses that have been inflicted on the tourism industry during this period, it is even more necessary to make use of the capacity of the exhibitions, especially the Fitor Spain exhibition for the post-Corona era. “Fortunately, with the special attention of the Ministry of Heritage, Culture, Tourism and Handicrafts and the good arrangements made by the Deputy Minister of Tourism, we will have a glorious, powerful and extensive presence at the Fitor 2022 exhibition.”
Sufi pointed to the actions of the Tourism and Automobile Association in order to hold the Iranian pavilion better and with better quality during this period of the exhibition and specified: The name of the Islamic Republic of Iran should be lively and dignified. “Therefore, we should look at the Iran pavilion with a collection-oriented approach with a single goal, which is the worthy introduction of tourism capacities and the ancient history and civilization of our country.”
Regarding the pavilion decoration and the use of original Iranian architectural symbols in the design of the Iranian pavilion at the Fitor 2022 exhibition, he said: “In this design, we used different and diverse ideas to build and execute a beautiful and attractive pavilion for specialized audiences and public visitors.”
120 square meters of Iranian pavilion space
Hadi Sajjadi Rad, Director of Tourism and Handicrafts of the Tourism and Automobile Association, also presented a report on the number of specialized and general visitors, news coverage and holding business meetings in previous periods, and the importance of attending this period of the Victor exhibition. “With the location, design and construction of the structure of the Iranian pavilion, with the cooperation of the Iranian embassy in Spain, we were able to allocate an area of 120 square meters in the form of an island in the European hall to our country.”
Referring to the presence of 14 representatives of our country’s tourism industry in this period of the exhibition, he said: “At Fitor 2022, we try to act more innovative by distancing ourselves from repetitive approaches and present a worthy and clear image of our country.” “In this regard, in designing the pavilion, we used the symmetry technique, Achaemenid and Safavid capitals, as well as domes and arches that represent the original Iranian architecture.”
“The Victor Fair in 1998 was able to bring together 10,000 companies with the aim of creating new interactions and boosting tourism around the world,” said Khavari, deputy director of the Foreign Tourism Marketing and Development Office at the Ministry of Heritage, Culture, Tourism and Handicrafts.
“The importance of attending this year’s exhibition is twofold,” he added. “Therefore, we must seize this short opportunity and make the most of it, because the strong presence of Iran will guarantee future communications and will re-illuminate our country as a world tourist destination.”
Following this symposium on Iran’s participation in the Fitor International Tourism Exhibition in Spain, the participants expressed their views and a lottery ceremony was held for the booths.
Iran pavilion will include 14 booths, a public teahouse, a special section for guests, and an Iranian hall decorated with handmade carpets of our country’s artists.
