Abbas Azimi returned to the Veteran Artists Institute

According to Fars News Agency, the farewell and introduction ceremony of the director of the Veteran Artists Institute was held in the presence of Mahmoud Salari, Deputy Minister of Arts of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance.
The ceremony was also attended by Hassan Riahi, Secretary of the 37th Fajr Music Festival, Maryam Motaref, a member of the board of directors of the Veteran Artists Institute, Mehdi Afzali, CEO of the Roudaki Foundation, Niknam Hosseinipour and Abbas Azimi.

At the beginning of the ceremony, Mahmoud Salari said in a speech: I thank Niknam Hosseinipour, who took over the responsibility of the Institute of Veteran Artists during the Corona crisis. This institution must link the experiences of the previous generation to the youth in order to preserve the originality and this great spiritual treasure.
He emphasized: linking and transferring the experiences of veteran artists and masters to the young generation with the centrality of the Veteran Artists Institute in the form of planning and holding various programs such as specialized meetings, training courses or practical workshops.
According to the Deputy Minister of Arts of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, at the Institute of Veteran Artists, we are witnessing a rainbow of different experiences, arts and originalities, and the art community is eager to take advantage of these spiritual treasures.
In another part of the ceremony, Mehdi Afzali presented a report on the activities of the institute so far, pointed to the regular weekly meetings of the board of directors and appreciated the efforts of Niknam Hosseini-Pour and said: We used to work with veteran artists at the Veteran Artists Institute.
Niknam Hosseinipour also explained the activities carried out during his presence, referring to the acquisition of corona in the country, noting: “In this difficult situation, by integrating the activities of the institute and maintaining order in the administrative structure, we provide better services to veteran artists and I hope With the presence of Abbas Azimi, we will witness the progress and development of this institution in order to promote its status and identity.
Abbas Azimi, the new director of the Veteran Artists Institute, said in a statement that serving veteran artists would lead to a good and prosperous outcome and expressed hope that I would respond appropriately to the trust of the Deputy Minister of Arts and all artists.
