Ability to establish all audio and video has been added to the Gmail mobile application

Thanks to a major update, you will now be able to make one-to-one voice and video calls through the Gmail app itself.
Google has officially announced that it has added one-to-one voice and video calling to the Gmail app on Android and iOS. The feature was first introduced in September, but is now available to the public via Google Workspace, G Suite or Google Accounts.
What does it mean to talk to a Gmail mobile app?
It used to be possible to make calls from within the Gmail mobile app, but this was only possible by sending an invitation to a Google Meet video conference, which may not have been a good option for one-on-one conversations. But from today, a simple phone and video icon has been added to the right corner of the Gmail chat page that you can use to chat with your audience.
This may be a small feature, but one of Google’s main goals is to make Gmail a central hub for all of the company’s communications services. In fact, Google’s blog post shows that you can even make a conversation through the Google Chat app itself.
Emails are now just one of the four main components of the Gmail application. In addition, you will have access to Spaces and Chat (Google messaging services) as well as Meet (Google video conferencing service).
