Acceptable condition for the air of five metropolises
The National Weather and Climate Change Center of the Environmental Protection Organization announced the acceptable conditions for the air of five metropolitan cities.
According to Moj news agency, according to the report received from the National Center for Air and Climate Change of this organization, the air in the metropolises of Tehran, Karaj, Mashhad, Shiraz and Arak is in acceptable conditions with indexes of 70, 80, 67, 69 and 74 respectively.
Also, the air in the metropolises of Isfahan and Ahvaz is unhealthy for sensitive groups with indices of 106 and 134, respectively, and Tabriz is clean with an index of 29.
Yesterday, the air in the metropolises of Tehran, Tabriz, Isfahan, Karaj, Mashhad, Ahvaz, Shiraz and Arak was acceptable with indexes of 81, 53, 96, 75, 79, 72, 62 and 85 respectively.
Air pollution index up to 50 green and clean, between 51 and 100 yellow and acceptable, 101 to 150 orange and unhealthy for sensitive groups, 151 to 200 red and unhealthy, 201 to 300 purple and very unhealthy, more than 300 brown is dangerous.
