Access to the Far East and Africa markets by developing economic relations with China


Gholam-Hossein Shafei, in an interview with Fars News Agency’s economic correspondent, regarding the need to develop trade relations with China, said: “China is now the second largest economy in the world and today it is not China 20 years ago, but has a very decisive role in the international arena.”

Regarding cooperation between Iran and China, he said: “Cooperation with China in trade fields will allow us to have trilateral and even trilateral agreements.”

The head of the Iranian Chamber of Commerce stated: China has extensive and extraordinary trade and economic activities in Africa, so considering that part of the goods exported to Africa are goods produced in Iran, it can be part of China’s export goods. Supplied to Africa through Iran.

He said: “In general, the development of economic and trade relations with China will bring this place for Iran to have more access to markets in the Far East and Africa.”
