Activity of 14 theaters in Tehran with 33 performances
“This is not Mr. Shadi Memmett”, “Anti-Oil”, “Histon Hotel”, “Single Person” and “Season of Oblivion” are the plays that have recently been staged in the capital’s theaters.
Theater News Base: With the end of the first month of the year and the beginning of May, Tehran theaters have hosted 33 plays in 14 halls. This week, five plays have been staged in the halls of the capital, and we have an overview of the titles of the works on stage.
City Theater Complex
“Dr. Noon loves his wife more than Mossadegh” Nashoteh Shahram Rahimian, directed by Hadi Marzban, will be on stage in the main hall of Theatershahr from April 27, at 8:30 PM. The play “Silent Scream” written by Mohammad Reza Ataei far, designed and directed by Mohammad Hadi Ataei, has been performing in the Shadow Hall since April 13, at 6:45 PM. The actors are Peyman س Mohseni, Mohsen Salari, Mohammad Hadi طAtaei and Sara Zakrianjad, respectively.
“Hamlet Behind the Mountain” written and performed by Ebrahim Poshtkuhi from April 4, at 8:15 PM in the Chaharsoo Hall of the Theatershahr Complex, starring Mehdi Ataei Riai, Majid Keshavarz, Afsaneh Bozekar, Gata Abedi, Ghazal Lori, Mohammad Jamehshourani, Yasman Sayad Daghtakar and Saeed Soli Is running.
The play “Hangover”, written and directed by Amin Behrozi, has been staged in Qashqai Hall since April 5, at 8:00 PM. The actors are Soheila Golestani, Mohsen Hassanzadeh, Pardis Shirvani, Mohammad Reza Najafi and Iman Dabiri, respectively.
Iranshahr Theater
The play “Silence” directed by Amir Bahavar Akbarpour Dehkordi and produced by Navid Mohammadzadeh will be performed on April 7, at 6 pm in the Samandarian Master Hall of this complex. The actors of this play are Negin Tahmatan, Ferial Sangari, Arezoo Abdollahi and Mahdokht Molaei.
“Hot Shame” written by Iyad Akhtar, directed by Farhad Shantiaei and produced by Saeed Roustaei, has been staged in the Samandarian Master Hall of this series since April 7, at 10 pm. Farhad Shantiaei, Shirin Salimi, Amir Ali Shirabadi, Behzad Karimi and Mahsa Shojaei play roles in this play.
“What is the subject” is the name of a play written by Sahra Ramezanian, designed by Arvand Dasht-e-Arai and directed by Marvin van Hulk, which will be hosted by the audience on April 12, at 8 pm in Ustad Nazerzadeh Hall. The actors of the play are Ava Akooi, Sanaz Bagheri, Parisa Derakhshandeh, Mohammad Rajabi, Elham Seresht, Najva Saheb Al-Zamani, Behzad Karimi, Mersad Mirghafari and Mujir Moeini.
The play “Process” written by Ali Karsizar and Amir Ebrahimzadeh and directed by Ali Karsizar and produced by Saeed Roustaei from April 7, at 8 pm in Ostad Samandarian Hall, starring Sepehr Tehranchi, Maryam Zarei, Mehrnoosh Hajikhani, Ehsan Gharadaghi, Sepiar Kazedin, Karami and Ghazaleh Tudeh Zaeem have taken the stage.
“Being” written by Saba Nejati and Mostafa Amiri and directed by Morteza Jalildoost and produced by Navid Mohammadzadeh has been performing since April 7, at 6:15 pm in Ustad Nazerzadeh Kermani Hall with Mustafa Amiri, Sara Shahroudian, Keyvan Mohammadi and Saba Nejati.
Nofel Loshato Mansion
Mahmoud Hedayati has been staging the play “Deep South” since April 11, at 7 pm, and the actors of this play are Arezoo Tehrani, Kaveh Tavakoli, Kamal Aldin Hosseini, Diana Asgari, Reza Mehrabi, Mahmoud Hedayati and Fatemeh Yavari.
“Anti-Oil”, written by Afshin Vaezi and designed and directed by Taha Khanjani, will be performed from May at 8:30 PM. Azadeh Shir Mohammadpour, Shahriyar Kamkar, Soghand Roustaei, Sepideh Eslami, Alireza Davoodvandi, Ali Mehrnia, Hamed Moqaddasi, Shahin Sabzi, Niloufar Mohammadi, Priya Khodakarami and Armita Ghobadi are the actors in this play.
Theatre Wall Fourth Collection
“Yellow Cats”, written and directed by Alireza Esadeghpour, has been performing since April 5, at 7 pm, and the actors in the play are Morteza Eslami, Ghazal Afshari, Amir Hassan Hassan Beyk, Fatima Rahmani, and Amir Mansour Mirzaei.
The play “This Mr. Shadi is not Mamt” written by Jalal حMohebi and designed by Arsalan GolMohammadi and Mojtaba Ashouri and dramaturgy by Mojtaba Ashouri has been staged since April 20, at 9 p.m. The actors are Jalal Mohebbi, Fatemeh Tavakoli, Mohammad Hossein Spanj, Amir Shah Ali, Shahrzad Bayani and Shadi Shah Ali, respectively.
Shahrzad Theater Campus
The play “Back to Black” written, designed and directed by Sajjad Afsharian will be staged in Hall No. 1 of this theater campus from January 23 at 7 pm, and the actors of this play are Sajjad Afsharian, Niko Bostani and Mehdi Zandieh.
Reza Bahrami has staged the play “Karimology” written by Mehran Ranjbar on April 6, at 8:15 PM in Hall No. 3 of this theater, with a play by Majid Rahmati.
“Season of Oblivion” with actor, writer and director Bahareh Rahnama will be on stage in Hall No. 3 of this theater from May 26, at 11:00 PM.
“Night of Doubt” is the title of a play directed by Amir Hossein یمBarimani and produced by Navid حMohammadzadeh.
“Single first person” is the name of a play written and directed by Omid Niaz and produced by Parviz Parastovi. Omid Niaz, Mons Pourfatehian and Leila Bamniri play roles in this play.
Mostafa Koushki will play the play “Storm” written by Baqer Soroush on April 6, 2009 at 9 pm in Hall No. 1 of this series, starring Mehran Imbakhsh, Shahrooz Delafkar, Ehsan ضRazvani, Sonia رSerlak, Ramin Siardashti, Kourosh Shahone, Elahe یعAshست ،Ash , Iman Abdi, Mohammad Qalandari, Mohammad Honadri and Vahid Enfar.

“Sled Dog”, written and directed by Sina Nasrollahi and produced by Sajjad Afsharian, will be hosted by the audience from April 6, at 7:00 PM. Hedyeh Azadeh, Mehrdad Khamesi, Amir Abbas Khorasani, Faezeh Shah Hosseini and Marzieh Fili will play roles in this play.
House of Artists
“Madhaa in Kandahar”, written and directed by Asghar Ikhlili, will be on stage at the Entezami Master Theater from April 6, at 9 pm. The actors of the play are Narges Hazare, Hamidreza Kazemipour, Mani Khalili, Nazila Ahmadi and Behzad Mohseni.
The play “Makhtoumeh” written by Mehdi Zandieh and the work of Sajjad Tabesh is produced by Space Drum, which will be performed in this theater from April 6, at 7:00 PM. Farzan Asadian, Mohammad Reza Imanian, Alireza Saveh Droudy and Peyman are the actors in this play.
