According to the Mehr news agency, citing the public relations of the Organization for the Regulation of Inclusive Audio and Video Media (Satra), a joint meeting of the head of Satra and the directors of the vice president of users and social regulation of Satra with the board of directors and some deputies of the Media Literacy Association of Iran, in the meeting hall of this The organization was held.
At the beginning of this meeting, Saeed Moqiseh said: Most of the actions that have been taken in the country so far are aimed at improving the media literacy of the people, but the truth is that the improvement of media literacy is a common need of the people, experts and managers, and strong steps should be taken in this area. to be picked up.
Satra; Helping people and officials to have a healthy environment
In addition, Omid Ali Masoudi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Media Literacy Association of Iran and Head of the Faculty of Culture and Communication of Sourah University, said: I deeply believe that Satra can take action to have a healthy virtual space and through culture building, promoting virtual space literacy and safe social regulation. Seyed Morteza Mousavian, the CEO of the Iran Media Literacy Association and a lecturer at Tehran universities, expressed his suggestions for the joint cooperation of this association and Satra and said: The Iran Media Literacy Association is currently managed by crowdsourcing. This association has not received funding from any institution and organization so far, and the income of the association is only from the membership fees of the members and the training courses that it organizes throughout the year.
He added: Iran’s Media Literacy Association is a new and completely virtual organization that has a license from the Ministry of Interior to operate in this area, and all members follow and carry out their activities while keeping their jobs virtually.
Pointing to the participation of the Media Literacy Association of Iran in holding three rounds of the National Conference on Media Literacy, Mousavian stressed: The Media Literacy Association of Iran will soon hold the fourth Media Literacy Conference with the participation of Sourah University, the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, and Satra. and in this period of the conference, Satra’s considered axes, such as consumer rights and age classification of home theater products, will be considered in the call for articles.
The CEO of the Iran Media Literacy Association further announced his readiness to cooperate with Satra and said: Considering the important role of Satra, we are ready to plan to improve the literacy of the users of the virtual space of the platforms and produce products that are accessible through audio and video platforms and Home show network to publish and broadcast. Seyed Peyman Khadim Al-Hosseini, a member of the board of directors and vice president of the Iranian Media Literacy Association, said: “Now there are some concerns in the society regarding the content approach of some platforms, and for this reason, it is necessary to analyze the content of virtual space from the perspective of Iranian Islamic culture. In this regard, it is possible to use the capacity of specialized working groups of Media Literacy Association.
In addition, Leila Vasali, the vice president of education of Iran Media Literacy Association, presenting a report on the activities of the association’s vice president of education, said: Only this year, 180 media literacy teachers in the country succeeded in two specialized courses of Iran Media Literacy Association, and these people All over the country, they are ready to hold training courses in the field of skills needed by families to use the home television network and other examples of immersive audio and video, as well as digital games literacy.
Introducing eight works of the specialized group to cooperate with Satra
In addition, Amir Yousefi, deputy of the working groups of the Media Literacy Association of Iran, while introducing the eight specialized working groups of the Media Literacy Association of Iran, said: In these eight working groups, we tried to look at the issues of the society from the perspective of media literacy, and with the participation of the members of the working groups, in the form of Social responsibility and without charging a fee, we cooperate with the association and provide effective solutions.

At the end of this meeting, Mohammad Sadegh Afrasiabi, head of Satra’s deputy for users and social regulation, announced the readiness of this deputy to pursue common areas of cooperation and hold joint weekly meetings with issues related to consumer rights, cyberspace literacy and regulation and said : One of the policies of Satra’s deputy users and social regulation is to identify and use the capacities of unions, associations and organizations related to cyberspace, and we hope that with the cooperation of various organizations, we will be able to implement upstream documents, including the approvals of the Supreme Council of Cyberspace and Agreements made with the National Center of Cyberspace to improve cyberspace literacy, let’s achieve good results.
