Al-Abbas Day became the fourth most important event of Zanjan province in the tourism calendar

According to the Arya Heritage report, citing the public relations of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Crafts of Zanjan, Seyed Saeed Safavi said: In the fourth meeting of the country’s tourism events registration council, Zanjan Al-Abbas Day was registered as another important event of Zanjan province in the tourism calendar.

Director General of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Zanjan Province added: Three events, the Iranian Ash National Festival, the International Eco-Silk Road Festival, and the National Handicrafts Exhibition were among the events that were registered in the third meeting of the Tourism Events Registration Council of Kabah.

He said: “Events are an important stimulus for tourism to show rituals, ceremonies and celebrations on special occasions, which play an effective and prominent role in development and marketing programs.”

Safavi said: “Youm al-Abbas Zanjan has hidden capacities that the general public has not seen, and in most programs only the presence of the crowd is shown, which should be introduced to the world.” This important matter can be an important step for the prosperity of the tourism industry and the presence of more tourists in Zanjan province.

He said: The mourning ceremony of Hosseinieh Azam in Zanjan is held on the eighth day of Muharram in Zanjan. This ceremony was registered on January 15, 2007 with the registration number 10 as the tenth work in the spiritual heritage of the country, and it is the first type of the unique aspect of mourning rituals in Zanjan.
