Martin Jaime is a composer from the city of Málaga, the center of flamenco music, and he composed this work specifically for the collection (cycle) of East and West music conducted by Ali Derabi in the Mariinsky Opera of St. Petersburg, and this piece was commissioned by the Malaga Philharmonic Orchestra for 5 years.
