Ali Osionde: I did not become an actor to brag

According to Fars news agency, Ali Osyond, an actor of cinema, theater and television, said about his interest in acting: I was born on December 1, 1998 in Masjid Suleiman. My father was Bakhtiari and my mother was Esfahani. I was very interested in cinema and acting since I was a child and in elementary school. I used to read the cinema magazines of that time and even though I was working, I went to the cinema after work because of my great interest in cinema and movies.
He continued: “I remember that at that time, Kianoosh Ayari used to come to Suleiman Mosque from Ahvaz and show 16 mm and 8 mm films.”
Saying that the best achievement that cinema had for me is mental health, peace and comfort, Osionde said: I did not step into this arena because of boasting and side issues; I got into this profession because of the peace that acting gives me.
Stating that he has worked in serious works, melodrama, tragic, etc., he said: I am interested in sensual roles and I am more proficient in them. In my opinion, acting means being free and I believe that one of the main foundations of acting is believability and honesty. If we are not honest in acting, the audience will realize that we are selling pride in our acting and we only want to show ourselves to them.
He continued: When we believe the role and character of the show, the audience also believes us. I don’t think about the audience in the game, because if I do, I have to go with logic, so I leave myself in the game situation and I don’t see anyone.
He said about the experience of working with Zinda Yad Molaqlipour: In 1972, I worked with Rasul Molaqlipour in the movie “Refugee”, which was honestly a well-made film. Malaqlipour was very cheerful on the stage. Sometimes he got angry, but there was nothing in his heart. We had a good relationship. I had good experiences with him in this movie.
Referring to his student days, he said: Our student days were the golden age of fine arts. Asghar Farhadi and his wife Parisa Bakhtavar, Ali Dehkordi, the late Sadegh Safaei, Ebrahim Hatamikia, Mahaya Petrosian, Saeed Aghakhani, me and my wife Humira Razi and many actors studied at that time. At the same time, we did a lot of theater and we were so serious in our work that not everyone could work with us.
About the experience of playing with Ali Nasiryan, Osyonde also said: Ali Nasiryan is a very honorable person and working with him is always peaceful. I co-starred with him two or three times and he did not shy away from practicing dialogues with other actors. When he wanted to work a sequence, apart from reading the script himself and doing his analysis, he very sincerely asked the opposite actor to practice the dialogues and repeated the exercise several times.
Some actors consider this to be a detraction from their dignity, they think that it is enough if they only memorize their dialogues; While acting is a trade-off and you have to do it properly with the opposite actor, and Ali Nasirian is truly a masterpiece in this field.
Osionde also said about the experience of co-starring with Zindeyad Khosro Shakibaei: We collaborated with Khosrow Shakibaei in several works; He was a very honorable person. I played alongside him in the series “Smell of Wild Flowers” by Hossein Ali Lialestani. Human patience was very humble and unassuming. I enjoyed working with him and it was an honor for me to have co-starred with him.
Stating that acting is a sacred profession, he continued: Acting is rooted in our religion. The actor tells the society that bad deeds are punished and good deeds are rewarded. For this reason, I ask God to give those who did not get their rights in this work a chance to get their rights.
Osyonde added: I hope the actors who are still alive are alive and healthy and busy because unemployment leads to depression. Especially actors, who are more sensitive people, should not be ignored for this reason, and we should try to invite our colleagues to work. It is really sad that Ferdous Kaviani’s living wife said that he used to wear clothes every day and thought that he had to go to work. It should not be like this, we must understand each other.
In the end, he said: I hope that we will reach peace in the society and that the society will be full of freshness and cheerfulness, because the people of a society that does not have cheerfulness do not understand life.
