According to the Mehr news agency, the Iranian Cinema Actors Association and the managing director of the House of Artists expressed their condolences on the death of Alireza Ghaffari, the country’s speaker, critic and documentary filmmaker.

Majid Rajabi Memar, the managing director of the Artists’ House, issued a message following the death of Alireza Ghaffari. The text of this message is as follows:

Alireza Ghaffari, a veteran TV and radio announcer, lecturer, film and theater critic, poet and documentary filmmaker, remained in the country in disbelief. The late Ghaffari was a literate, cultured, honest, good-natured, kind and well-known human being and left valuable works in various cultural and artistic fields.

With Ghaffari’s absence, the culture and art community has lost a multifaceted and effective human being whose vacancy is felt from today.

Alireza Ghaffari worked hard and left happy memories during his two years in charge of public and international relations at the House of Iranian Artists.
