All museums in Tehran are closed tomorrow/ the closure of museums in other provinces is subject to the decision of the governorates

Morteza Adibzadeh said in an interview with Aria Heritage reporter: Due to the continued cold weather and the decision of the Tehran Governorate, all museums and museum collections in Tehran will be closed for public visits on Sunday, January 25, 1401.

The Director General of Museums added: It is necessary for all managers of museums and collections to make arrangements to establish suitable and safe environmental conditions for cultural and historical works and properties in museums and collections. The ventilation and heating systems of museums should be at the appropriate temperature for a museum.

He clarified: The closure of museums in other provinces and cities will be subject to the decision of the governorate.
